Hi everyone, it’s been
a while since my last post. However, today I bring a very polemic theme.
Nowadays
fighting for the human rights is absolutely necessary to keep a cal and peaceful
world. And this is what the members of Pussy Riot defend… Pussy Riot is a Russian feminist punk-rock collective that fights
against violations to women’s right in Russia. In 2012 they were arrested for ‘hooliganism’
and, today, they are still in jail.
This is a very troubled issue that involves
governments that crossed the human rights. As a form of protest, Pussy Riot
wrote a song named "Putin Lights Up The Fires". After that, they
became famous and since that day, TV’s from all over the world report the
development of their case. This case is still open and I really hope that the
truth can be discovered…
An excellent and controversial choice on Human Rights issues. The debate over Pussy Riot's actions has spured a global debate specially related to the different perspectives on Human Rights worldwide. In fact, they didn't receive much support at home - their actions are considered morally offensive and rebellious - but their penalty was received with a huge criticism by the Western countries. Well done!
