We live in a world that everyday tends to be more connected
than it was the day before. The notion of ‘Global Village’ is today clearly
understood and followed by every single person on the planet. And as a matter
of fact, music is nowadays one of the fastest means of communication.
The way how, nowadays, new bands and artists are still
influenced by many artists of the 50’s/60’s clearly shows us the power of music
through generations.
Iconic songs as ‘We are the Champions’ by Queen, ‘Thriller’
by Michael Jackson, ‘Mercedes-Benz’ by Janis Joplin and many others are known
by all of us in every corner of the globe despite the many years that have
passed since their release.
All these arguments
clearly illustrate the way how music has been achieving its place as one of the
unifying factors of the world’s population and that for many years that pass,
not a single song is forgotten.
